This is not an idea but a question. I use to visit your website everyday and find "The Saint of the Day". When you started rebuilding your site, I couldn't find it anymore. I truly miss it and want to know, is there another way to find it? If you can help me please email me at skidder86@gmail.com. God Bless, Jim

Was looking at your music CDs. However, the songs are not listed, and, therefore, I do not know what I would be buying. Some websites have a little blip so you may listen to a little piece of the particular song.
Thank you.

Ok, I've gone through and critiqued the site, hope you don't mind. I design for a living, so I hope maybe some of this will be useful for you. :D The current look of the site is cloudy and gray, no use of bright colors or gradients. Images should be higher quality, avoid any striated gifs or pixelated jpegs. If you're using flash for the rotating header, why not type the text IN flash instead of making the text an image. That would reduce the image filsize and increase the quality of the text. You may need to limit the number of fonts you use, because flash embeds each font which can increase the size as quickly as images can. On the location pages, tighter formating- bringing elements closer together, perhaps creating a template format with the address and phone numbers and such labeled and left justified. Center justified uses lots of space. Use Italics. Italics are pretty, times new roman even looks nice with some italics. Consider a permanent sidebar, much like this ideascale page... At least consider a vertical line to separate the two columns. Oh... The shop page. Make the links a larger font size. They're tiny and pixely, or at least the arrows are pixely. The text IS tiny. And the logo. The logo was always black and red... Was this a conscious decision to reverse it? Eek! "Buy it now" on the shopping cart... =:O CD's should probably have tracks listed. I know, it's a logistical nightmare cataloging that, but it's expected. No itunes option? Guess not. I don't know what that would take, but it seems a likely next step. Recently viewed items should be smaller, perhaps the thumbnails and titles only without the buying options? Moving on, google map for directions on location pages. Ok. That's all. Thanks for listening, hope it helps more than it hurts! ~Designer Dan

Overall, the site looks really sharp! I will take time to go through it in detail and hopefully be able to offer some helpful feedback. One somewhat minor detail that jumped out at me which I feel is worth mentioning is the URL for the Daughters of Saint Paul page... it is dsp... Those are the initials you used before adopting fsp as the universal Daughters/Filiae. Any chance you could change the URL to be either fsp or daughters?

I was unable to locate: #71281 and #71230. I tried several ways. Discouraged from placing the order and did not. A disappointment for me who has a lot of your titles and wanting to purchase these editions. Neither book listed under new titles. Former site was fine. Hope you can adapt this for easy use.

Can the "Daughters of St Paul" link that is on the bottom of the PBM home page - be moved to a permanent tab along the top of the PBM site - even if it's the last one.
Also - there needs to be link to the PBM site on the Daughters of St. Paul page. Did I miss it?
Once I got into the DSP site I couldn't get back to the PBM site (except by hitting the windows "previous screen" arrow back button...).

Have a look at the Novalis book site -- very good.
I have been buying most of my fsp books in Rome (even though I live 50 miles away from Toronto). I don't go to Toronto as the gridlock traffic makes it too time consuming, and the internet/ flyer selections were mostly Daughters of St. Paul books. In Rome on Via Mascherino I find posters, music, academic type study books, all the Pope's works, some Catholic magazines like The Tablet. I always wind up carting home about 50 lbs of books from Rome when I really would prefer strictly mail order internet shopping. But you have to give me a place where I can browse -- look up a subject and see the stock, size and prices, maybe a brief note on the author & review. And if I like a book, direct me to "something similar" IE same author or same subject. I know that's a LOT of titles and a LOT of work -- but how can I buy if I can't see what you have? More and more people want the convenience of internet shopping -- I can't waste a whole day off traipsing off to Toronto when I can shop online fairly quickly at various sites. So, this is worth doing, and doing as thoroughly as possible.

Would it be possible to have at the top of the page of Pauline Books and Media where it has Lydia Link and Locations and Daughters of St. Paul, etc, to put in the last space that is still free the word "Catalogue" Then the people would be able to click on that and find the options of looking by title, or author etc. The print seems to be too small where it indicates the two ways to look things up. Just a thought, I really think that our old web site was much more user friendly. Also, instead of having that Sr. Mary Martha link, would it be possible to have Christopher West's link and Danielle Bean's link attached to our website, because they are our authors and we have a couple of their books on our publishers's list. Also it would be a great promotion for TOB and Family Life.
That Sr. Mary Martha link does not seem to fit our kinds of readers. It just seems so strange to me and I feel that it may turn people off to us. Just a suggestion. Sr. Barbara Gerace, fsp

Could a prayer card be created that consists of the prayers for prepartion and after Mass published in The Vatican II Sunday Missal which was prepared by the Daughters of St. Paul with a copyright of 1974? The prayers are: Prepartion for Mass (Prayer of St. Ambrose and Prayer of St. Thomas Aquinas) Thanksgiving After Mass (Prayer of St. Thomas Aquinas), Prayer to Our Redeemer, Prayer of Self-Dedication to Jesus Christ, Prayer of Jesus Christ Crucified, The Universal Prayer attributed to Pope Clement XI and Prayer to the Virgin Mary.
I thought it would be nice to have such a prayer card available in the church pews for parishioners who do not have their own missal.
